Eight million tons! That’s how much plastic ends up in our oceans every year. At that rate, by 2050, there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish.

We know you don’t want that to happen and neither do we.

We want to change that.

Hi, we’re TEAL Project.
Visit us on www.teal-project.com

We see ocean plastic as a valuable resource that can be harvested and turned into new products for everyday use. Today, fishermen, and eco-conscious startups are collecting marine litter and bringing it back onshore for recycling.
As experienced sportswear designers, we saw an opportunity here. Synthetic fibres are not only an indispensable component of everyday clothing — in fact chances are you’re wearing some right now, unless you’re naked — but they also offer outstanding performance for today’s athletes.

So we decided to start with a versatile product everyone needs: Socks.

We wear them every day for warmth, to do sports and to work. A good pair of socks will keep your feet dry, prevent blisters and help you perform, and should be ridiculously comfortable.

We spent 2 years sourcing materials and finding the perfect production partner in Portugal. Establishing our production in Europe allows us to stay in control of the entire production process and to work closely with our suppliers. But it also helps us to minimize shipping distances and significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

After more than a year experimenting with different material compositions and testing countless samples, we have created a product like no other. Our socks combine sustainable material choices, clean and stylish design and unique performance features.
With our product finalized and production ready to go, we are looking for your support to bring this product to life.

Let’s tackle plastic pollution together, and turn it into something positive.

We’re TEAL Project.
